Genl [J?.] L. Hodson Adjt Genl of Maine General Daniel W. Dyer of Company "I" from Bradford, who was wounded at the engagement at Hanover Court House on the 27th [ ], died from the effects of his wounds this morning. This makes the total killed and died from the effects of their wounds four (4) [ ] B. F. Smart orderly sergeant Company "H" F.D. Nickerson Company "D" S C. Murch Company "B." The number reported wounded is thirty (30). The Field Staff and line officers are all safe. over
