Manufactures, in concurrence.

Resolves, entitled "Resolves respecting the North Eastern Boundary" were read a second time, and the question on passing said Resolves to be engrossed, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided in the affirmative as follow to wit; Yeas, Messrs Boutelle, Bridgham, Dunlap. Eastman, Emerson, Gibson, Goodwin, Groton, Hunton, Hodgman, Ingalls, Keith, Lithgow, Megquire, Smith, Sweat, Talbot, Thompson, Thayer and Webb ---- 20 Nays, None. Messrs. Burnham and Scammon were excused from voting on the question.

On motion of Mr Keith, ordered that Messrs Keith and Boutelle, with such as the House may join be a committee to enquire into the expediency of erecting a monument over the remains of Enoch Lincoln, late Governour of the State of Maine. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred, and Messrs Lowel, Gilchrist, and Andrews of the House are joined.

The petition of the Kennebec Boom proprietors for an additional act was read and referred to the joint standing committee on Turnpikes, Bridges, and Canals, in concurrence.

A communication from Witham B. Webber, declining to accept the office of Counsellor was read from the chair.
