Met according to adjournment

On motion by Mr Goodwin of South Berwick.

Ordered that the committee on Literary Institution into consideration the necessity and expediency of making a grant of money or lands to South Berwick Academy. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve authorizing temporary loans on behalf of the State, laid on the table by Mr Steward of Anson, was read once & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 2d reading & then recommitted.

Resolve in aid of Falmouth Academy, was called up and the further consideration of the subject postponed until Thursday next at 10 oclock.

Resolve in favor of Deavon Sockbasin was read a 2d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Frankfort Granite Company was read a 3d time, and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill - an act additional to an act providing for the apportionment of public administrators, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.


Bill to set off Samuel Lord from the town of Falmouth and annex him to the town of Westbrook was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
