38.07 -- Inspectors of Steamboats. [underlined] Created by P.L. 1874, c. 172, § 2. Abolished by P.L. 1923, c. 149, § 14.

Duties -- inspect annually every steamboat carrying passengers on inland waters; inspect parts and equip-ment; ascertain their safety; fix number of passengers; giver certificates.

Members -- 2, 1 to have practical knowledge of ship building and the other a knowledge of boilers.
