217 Resolve on the Pay Roll of the House of Representatives, reported by the Committee on the Pay Roll, was read 1st & 2nd time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill an additional act respecting the Militia & Circuit Courts Martial came from the Senate that body refusing to adopt the amendments proposed by the House & adhering their vote passing the Bill as it came originally from that Branch - The House adhere to their vote passing the same to be engrossed as amended, propose a conference & appoint as conferees on their part Messrs Knowlton of Montville, Baxter of Bristol & Mitchell of North Yarmouth.

Resolve in favor of William Witt was read 1st & 2nd time & refused a passage. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the President Directors & Company of the Commercial bank, came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature for concurrence - and the House adhered to their vote passing the same to be enacted.

Resolve in favor of the towns, of Saco & Biddeford, came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature for concurrence - The House adhere to their vote passing this Resolve to be engrossed as amended. Sent up for concurrence

The committee on State Lands to whom was referred that part of the Governors Message relating to public lands, made a detailed report, which was read and accepted as amended on sheet annexed marked G in the Senate & sent down for concurrence - and the House ordered 300 copies thereof to be printed for the use of the members.

Resolve repealing a Resolve fixing the compensation of certain officers, passed March 6th 1829, was read once & referred to Messrs White of Monmouth, Clark of Limington & Norton of Canaan.
