Mr. Shaw of Wiscasset appeared presented his credentials was qualified and took his seat

An order came from the Senate for concurrance [concurrence] requesting the Secretary of State to lay before the two branches of the Legislature the Abstract of the Returns made to his office in June last by the several incorporated Banks in this State and the House concurred sent up

An Order came from the Senate for concurrance [concurrence] directing the Committee on so much of the Govs Message as relates to Literature and Literary Institutions - to enquire into the expediency of passing a Law requireing [requiring] that a School Committee be appointed in each County for the purpose of enquireing [enquiring] into the Literary qualifications of all persons proposeing [proposing] themselves as Teachers of Youths in primary Schools in this State and the House concurred sent up

An order came from the Senate for concurrance [concurrence] directing the Committee on the Judiciary to enquire into the expediency of establishing by Law Pound Keepers fees and the House concurred sent up
