Tuesday, Jany. 21, 1834.

On motion of Mr. Brown, ordered, that Eli Royall and others petitioners for incorporation of township No. 2 into a Plantation, have leave to take their petition from the files of the Senate.

Petition of A. Curtis and others, praying to be incorporated under the name of the Cherryfield Boom Company, " of Philo Lewis and others praying to be incorporated into a Company to erect a boom across the Narragaugus River, " of William Cammett and other to be incorporated into a Company by the name of the "Portland Mining and Railway Company", severally read and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals in concurrence.

Report of the Committee on Turnpikes Bridges & Canals on petition of Peter Grant and others, came up from the House recommitted with instructions to report a statement of facts, read and recommitted in concurrence.

Petition of Caleb Prentis and others, praying for the location of a road from Foxcroft to Moosehead Lake, " of Inhabitants of Princeton that the Legislature will grant them a Thousand Dollars to be expended on the Baring and Houlton road, " of Inhabitants of Baileyville for same, severally read and referred to the Committee on State Roads, in concurrence.

Petition of the town of Bowdoinham, " of inhabitants of Richmond for a new County, read and referred to the Committee on Division & alteration of Counties in concurrence.
