Bill to incorporate the Jefferson High School was read the second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

Bill to increase the Capital Stock of Casco Bank (taken up on motion of Mr McLallan)

to incorporate the Bank of Cumberland, severally read the second time and passed to be engrossed.

Bill to increase the Capital Stock of the Calais Bank,

to incorporate the Mariners Bank (as amended)

to incorporate the Lafayette Bank, to incorporate the Peoples' Bank, severally taken up and passed to be engrossed

Bill concerning mortgages and pledges of personal property and property subject to any lien created by law was, on motion of Mr Chandler, taken up. The Senate adopt the amendment proposed by the House and further amend said Bill and pass the same to be engrossed, as amended.
