The Committee on Manufactures reported leave to withdraw on petition of Nathan Giles and others - read and accepted, in concurrence.

Bill establishing the standard weight of potates (reported in the House by the Committee on Agriculture are on an order relative to that subject - read once and recommitted, in concurrence.

Mr Prescott, from the Committee on Claims, to which were referred the petition of Samuel Moulton and James Jackman, made a report asking leave to be discharged from the further consideration thereof and recommending the reference of the same to the Committee on State lands; read and accepted

 Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Mr Farnham, from the Committee on Literary Institutions, reported legislation inexpedient on an order relative to making a grant to South Berwick Academy and also to North Yarmouth Academy read and accepted.
