The Committee to whom was referred the order concerning an Assistant Clerk reported an order as follows Ordered, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives be authorized & required to employ some person as a Copying Clerk when & so long as his services shall be necessary, whose compensation shall not exceed two dollars per day __ read & ordered to lie on the table.
