On motion of Megquier ordered, that the doors be now closed, and that the Senate go into secret session.
Mr. Boutelle from the select committee to whom was referred the confidential communication from the Governor with the accompanying documents reported certain Resolves which were read and after some discussion laid on the table.
The doors being opened, On motion of Mr. Burnham, ordered that when the Senate adjourn, it adjourn to meet again at half past two o'clock this afternoon, and the Senate accordingly, Adjourned.
