Bill to set off Cornelius Thompson from Bowdoin and to annex him to Lisbon, reported by Mr. Pease from the Committee on Division of Towns, to which was referred the petition of Cornelius Thompson. Bill to annex Joseph Stackpole and others to Albion reported by the same gentleman from the same Committee to which was referred the petition of Joseph Stackpole & others, Bill to incorporate the town of Springfield, referred by Mr. Cobb from the Committee on Incorporation of Towns, to which was referred the petition of Charles Lowell and others, Resolve in favor of the Passamaquoddy Indians reported by Mr. Kelsey from the Committee on State Lands, to which was referred the petition of John Francis and others of the Passamaquoddy Tribe of Indians. Bill additional respecting the Winthrop Bank, reported by Mr. Cogswell from the Committee on Banks and Banking, to which was referred the petition of Winthrop Bank, severally read once, and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill to incorporate the Portland Mining and Railway Company, reported in the House by the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, to which was referred the petition of William Cammet and others, was read once and tomorrow at eleven o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Resolve in favor of Samuel Holden was read a second time, and on motion of Mr. Groton was laid upon the table.
