Report on the petition of James Crosby & others came back, the Senate nonconcurring the House in their vote of yesterday, and referring the same to the delegation from Penobscot County for concurrence and the House concurred.

Bill - An Act to repeal an act additional to an act to provide for the Education of Youth was read a third time, and on motion of Mr Dumont of Hallowell indefinitely, postponed, and the question was taken by yeas & nays and decided as follows yeas 150. nays 7. [See appendix page 431] Sent up for concurrence.

Bill- "an additional act providing for the punishment of certain crimes and for the prevention thereof" was called up and made the special order of the day for Wednesday next at 10 o'clock.

And then the House adjourned
