Bill to incorporate the President, Directors and Company of the Bank of Bangor came up from the House amended. The Senate recede from their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed, adopt the amendment proposed by the House and pass the same to be engrossed as amended in concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Trustees of Sanford Academy, Resolve for the benefit of the town of Newburgh, severally read a second time and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence.

Resolve in favor of Stephen Emerson, reported by Mr. Bradbury from the Committee on State Roads, on the petition of Stephen Emerson, Bill to organize, govern and discipline the militia of this State was taken up, severally read and Tuesday next at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Resolve providing for the purchase of the two first Volumes of the Laws of Maine, reported by Mr. Groton from the Committee on the Judiciary, to which was referred so much of the Governor's Message as relates to "a new edition of the two first Volumes of the Laws of Maine, was read once and Wednesday next at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.
