Petition of John Bent, publisher of the "Northern Light" for compensation for publishing the laws of 1833, was read and referred to the Committee on Accounts in concurrence.

Petition of William Millet and sundry inhabitants of Township No. 1 in the County of Hancock to be organized into a Plantation, was read and referred to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns in concurrence.

Petition of inhabitants of the town of Berlin for aid in making County Roads, was read and referred to the Committee on Claims, in concurrence.

Petition of A.G. Partridge and others to be incorporated into a Company to be called "Togus Fishing Company" was read and referred to the Committee on Interior Fisheries, in concurrence.

Petition of Jacob Butterfield & others inhabitants of Vassalboro', " of Jacob Hale and others inhabitants of Ripley " of George Langley & others " " Moscow " of Joel Wellington " " " Albion " of Peter Folsom " " " Harmony " of Levi Johnson " " " Canaan " of Daniel Moor " Boatmen of Waterville for a Dam across the Kennebec River at Augusta, Remonstrance of James Stackpole and others against the same, were severally read and referred to the Committee that have that subject under consideration, in concurrence.
