Resolve in favor of Dennysville, reported by Mr. Groton from the Committee on Claims, on petition of the town of Dennysville, Resolve, in favor of Wilmot Wood, reported by the same gentleman from the same Committee, on the claim of Wilmot Wood, Bill for the benefit of Aliens, and others, reported in the House by the Committee on the Judiciary, on petition of James Clark and Hannah Coles, severally read once, and tomorrow at ten o'clock, assigned for a second reading.

Remonstrance of Calvin Gorham & sundry inhabitants of Lewiston, " of sundry inhabitants of Danville " " Pownal " " Freeport " " Whitefield " " Litchfield " " Wiscasset against the establishing of a new County; severally read and referred to the Committee, to which was committed the Bill to incorporate the County of Casco. Sent down for concurrence.

Communication from Joel Miller, Warden of the State Prison, was read and referred to the Committee on the State Prison, in concurrence.

Petition of inhabitants of North Salem, to change the name of said town to Salem, Petition of Haunce Robinson and others, for a Charter to build a Bridge across Georges River in Warren; severally read and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals
