It becomes my duty to make known to the two branches of the Legislature, that a vacancy now exists in the office of Major General of the Fourth Division of the Militia of this State.

 The Adjutant General having reported the resignation of Major General Samuel P Strickland of the Eighth Division, and the same having been accepted, it becomes my duty to make known to the Legislature, that a vacancy now exists, in the office of Major General of the Eighth Division of the Militia of this State.
