256. amendments, which were adopted, and then 300 copies of the Bill as thus amended, ordered to be printed for the use of the Legislature

Bill - An Act granting additional powers to the Proprietors of the New Congregational Meeting House in Saco, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Report of the Committee on Military Pensions, asking to be discharged from any further service, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Leave to Withdraw was reported on petition of - Warren Rice - William W Quimby - Lucy Mason and the reports were accepted in concurrence -

Petition of John Pyate Junr & others to be incorporated as a Granite Company was read and referred to the Committee on Manufactures Sent up for concurrence.

Petition of Nathan Stanley to be remunerated for certain expenses incurred was referred in concurrence to the Committee on Claims.

Petition of Josiah Peet & others for an Academy at Norridgewock was read & referred to Committee on Literature &c in concurrence

And then the House adjourned
