The House resumed the further consideration of the orders moved by Mr Holmes of Alfred requesting information from the Governor in relation to the North Eastern Boundary &c, on the 12th inst. and after some further discussion of the subject Mr Jarvis of Ellsworth moved an amendment as follows to be inserted between the first & second paragraphs of said orders, viz "Ordered That the Governor be requested to inform the House whether the British Government, have, or claim possession of, or exercise jurisdiction over certain Islands in Passamaquoddy Bay, viz.
