Bill - to incorporate the town of Passadumkeag, was read once and tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Bill - to incorporate the town of Enfield, was read once and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a second reading

Bill - to incorporate the town of Edingburg was read once and tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a second reading

Bill - an additional act to establish the Bucksport and Prospect Ferry Company was read 1st and 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 o clock assigned for a 3rd reading

Mr Lermond of Hope has leave of absence for seven days after today.

The committee on engrossed Bills reported as truly and rightly engrossed. Resolve for the purchase & distribution of Fairfields Reports - Resolve - relative to the election of Senators - Resolve - in favor of the Passamaquoddy Indians - which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion by Mr Tiffany of Sidney Ordered, That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of providing by law, that notice given by overseers of the Poor of towns shall be sufficient when proved that such notices were duly mailed and received in the offices of towns
