Remonstrance of Levi Dickerson & others against the petition of Benjamin Holbrook & others praying to set off a part of Starks and annex it to Mercer - read and referred to the Committee on Division of Towns, in concurrence.
Petition of the Selectmen of Liberty, " of Timothy Copp and others for aid in making road in the town of Liberty came up from the House of Representatives referred to the Committee on the Judiciary. The Senate nonconcur the House in their reference, and refer the same to a Joint Select Committee, consisting on the part of the Senate, of Messrs Prescott and Clark, with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred, and Messrs. Pillsbury of Bucksport, Lowell of E. Machias and Emery of Montville are joined.
