On motion of Mr Brown of Weld Ordered that the Clerk of this House be directed to transmit to the Selectmen of the town of Livermore intelligence that the seat of the Hon Ruel Washburn Representative from that town has been vacated by his resignation in this House and that the Inhabitants thereof may avail themselves of their Constitutional right of filling the vacancy thus reasoned, by a new election read and passed
On motion of Mr McCrate of Nobleborough Ordered that the committee on the Pay Roll be directed to make up the pay of Thomas Baker for his own services that of two assistants and Page at the rate of Five dollars per day Read and passed
On motion of Mr Soule of Freeport Ordered that the Committee on the pay roll be directed to make up the travel and pay of the members of this House to including Wednesday next read and passed
Resolve in favour of Sewall Watsons came from the Senate they having nonconcurred the House in the passage of the Resolve and indefinitely postponed the same the House insist on their vote passing the Resolve to be engrossed - propose a conference and appoint as conferees on the part of the House Messrs Dumont, Webster, and
