Order from the House of Representatives instructing the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals to inquire into the expediency of passing a law prohibiting any person or persons from passing the Floating Bridge across Pleasant Pond in the town of Dexter, with a cart or waggon with more than four oxen on horses attached to, or with more than one and a half tons burthen thereon - read and passed, in concurrence.

On motion of McMcLellan, Ordered that Messrs. McLellan, Purinton and Greene of Somerset be a Committee, with such as the House may join, to inquire into the expediency of repealing an "Act additional to an Act to provide for the education of Youth," approved by the Governor March 4th, 1833; and report by Bill or otherwise. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred and Messrs Coney, Benson Davis Hill and Hawes are joined.
