The same Committee report as duly Engrossed Resolve making appropriations for certain Military purposes ____ to authorize the Treasurer of Washington County to procure a loan of Money on the faith of said county ____ proposing an amendment to the constitution of this State which were severally finally passed - sent up.

The same committee report as duly engrossed Resolve in favour of Jabez Bradbury - Mr. Allen of Greene moved to postpone the further consideration of the resolve until the first day of April and the question on so postponing was taken by Yeas and Nays and decided in the negative as follows - Yeas 69 Nays 73 - Mr. Pierce of Pownal moved to postpone the Resolve indefinitely and the question on so proposing was taken by Yeas and Nays (see appendix page )
