Resolve relating to a Rail Road from some point on the Seaboard or connected with the Seaboard by navigable waters to Quebec, was, on motion of Mr. Chandler taken up; -- and the question of finally passing the same, being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, was decided in the affirmative as follows, to wit:

YEAS, Messrs Barnard, Burnham, Emmons, Farnham, F. Greene, C. Greene, Manter, McLellan, O'Brien, Pierce, Prescott, Purinton, Randall, Read and Smith. __________________________15.

Resolve authorizing Phebe Barfe and John Noble to make conveyance of real estate in certain cases (reported by Mr. Emmons from the Committee on the Judiciary on petition of Phebe Barfe and John Noble)

Resolve authorizing a part of the Bank tax to be distributed among certain towns that have failed to make return to the Secretary of State the present year (laid on the table by Mr. O'Brien) severally read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.
