403 The Senate nonconcur the House and adhere to their former vote indefinitely postponing the same.

Mr Greene, from the Committee on the Judiciary, reported leave to withdraw on petition of Joseph Stockbridge and legislation inexpedient on the following orders, to wit, relative to forfeitures for violation of license laws - relative to protecting real estate from intrusion - relative to Clerks of Courts publishing County expenses - relative to regulating the size and quality of Bricks - relative to gambling and horse racing - relative to fixing the period for the execution of criminals condemned to death - read and accepted.

A message was received from the House of Representatives that that Branch had reconsidered their vote passing to be engrossed An additional Resolve for the benefit of the Blond and had committed the same to the Joint Select Committee that have so much of the Governors Message under consideration as relates to this subject. The Senate reconsider their vote passing the said Resolve to be engrossed, and commit the same in concurrence.
