A message was received informing the Senate that the House had adopted the amendments proposed by the Senate, to the "Bill to regulate private booms on Kennebec River", and had further amended said Bill and requesting the concurrence of the Senate. The Senate recede from their vote passing the same to be engrossed, adopt the amendments proposed by the House, and order the same reengrossed as amended, in concurrence.

Resolve additional for the payment of accounts against the State was read the second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the Megunticook Bank was taken up and read the second time - and the question of passing the same to be engrossed was decided in the affirmative as follows, to wit: Yeas. Messrs. Benson, Clark, Fish, Jarvis, Jewett, Kelsey, Latham, Mantor, Merrow, Miller, Pierce, Robinson, Severance, Staples and Weeks --- 15 nays. Messrs. Allen, Greene and Strickland --- 3 Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Mr. Fish, from the Committee of Conference on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses on "Bill to incorporate the Ellsworth Bank, reported that, on the opinion of the Conferees the same reason exists for the passage of this Bill that there does for the passage of the other Bank Bills reported by the Joint Select Committee -- read and accepted - and said Bill accordingly passed
