the Commander in Chief has thought fit to appoint the following Officers on a Board to sit and hear the claims and to Report their opinion what Rank the Several Regiments Shall hold in the Brigade. Each Regiment will be represented before the Board by one or more persons to support its respective claims of Rank, but nothing herein contained Shall be construed to give any precedence whatever. The Board will consist of

President - Brigadier General Henry Dearborn / Brig. 8 Div.

Members - Colonel Henry Sewall, Dep[uty] Adj. Genl. 8th Div. Colonel John Lemont / Regt., Brig. 8 Div.

And the Board will sit for the above purpose on the second Wednesday in June next at ten O'Clock before noon at the house of [?] Whither Inholder in Wiscasset. In case either of the members shall be absolutely incapable of attending by reason of sickness, the Major General of the Eighth Division will supply his place by a field Officer from his first Brigade.

The Major General of the Division will cause the Officers of the Board to be notified, and all persons concerned in the event of their decision.
