I have summoned & given Notice to the within named John Swett Esq. to appear & answer according to the Tenor of this Writ by Reading the Same to him. Att. Theodore Moulton Und. Sheriff

And the said John Swett administrator as aforesaid comes & defends His and saith he hath not broken the Covenants aforesaid but hath kept the same and [illegible] of this reports himself on the Country--
