The friends of Maj r William H. Page are desirous of obtaining for him the appointment of Justice of the Peace for the County of Kennebunk --  As some of the gentlemen of the Bar would bring their actions before him, it would assist him in supporting his family, until he can settle the concerns of their late unfortunate firm --  Under these circumstances, it is hoped, unless it should interfere with some of your managements, you will be pleased to appoint him, at this session of the Council.
