[Convention to qualify Counsellor &c &c] At 10 oclock agreeably to assignment the two branches of the Legislature assembled in Convention, in the Representatives Chamber; when Thomas Fillebrown Esq came in, made and subscribed the oaths and declarations prescribed by the Constitution to qualify him to discharge the duties of Counsellor.

The Counsellor then withdrew, after which the business of the Convention being accomplished the Senators withdrew.

[Notice to Governor of qualification of T.Fillebrown]

Ordered, [underlined] That the Secretary of State pro. tem. inform the Governor that Thomas Fillebrown Esq has been qualified agreeably to the provisions of the Constitution, Counsellor to advise ["the" struck out] him ["Governor" struck out] in the executive part of government the ensuing political year. In Senate June 7 1820 Read and passed Sent down for concurrence Read and concurred.
