Met according to adjournment.

[Bill-- extendign the power of towns to restrain cattle running at Large &c] Bill from the Senate entitled "An Act extending the power of towns to restrain cattle running at large" In Senate June 27th 1820 Read and passed to be engrossed. Sent down for concurrence. Read a first, second and third time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

[Leave of absence.] Mr Parsons of Edgecomb had leave of absence

[Assessors to return Number of Shakers, Quakers & Ministers] Ordered, that the assessors of Towns and plantations in this State be requested to return to this Legislature at their next session the number of Polls of Quakers and Shakers over the age of 18 and under the age of 45; and of the ministers of the Gospel of all denominations with their property which if owned by other citizens would be taxable by the laws of this State, distinguishing the real from the personal property, together with the number of paupers and the expense of supporting them, in each town for the year 1819 and 1820, separately, distinguishing the expense of State from Town paupers. Read and passed. Sent up for concurrence.
