Greeting:
Know Ye, That David Kidder; of Norridgewock in the County of Somerset Esquire, on the thirteenth day of September; in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four, was chosen by the People of this State, legally qualified therefor a Representative, to represent the in the Congress of the United States of America, for the term by the Constitution of said United States expressed, commencing with the fourth day of March one thousand eight hundred and twenty five, at the times and places, and in the manner of holding elections, prescribed by our Legislature, agreeably to the powers therein vested by the Constitution aforesaid.
In testimony whereof, I have caused the seal of the State to be hereunto affixed, Given under my hand at Portland, the twenty third day of November, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty four; and in the forty ninth year of the Independence of the United States of America.
