to all persons to whom these Presents shall come,

Whereas, before the Supreme Judicial Court, of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, begun and holden at Augusta, within the County of Kennebec, and for the Counties of Kennebec and Somerset, on the first Tuesday of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen, Elias Thurborn, of Readfield, in our said County of Kennebec, was convicted of the Crime of Larceny: and thereupon by our said Court was sentenced to be punished by solitary imprisonment for the term of ten days; and afterwards by confinement to hard labor for the term of two years, within the precincts of the State Prison of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; which sentence has been fully executed: and he the said Elias Thurborn has humbly supplicated Us for mercy:

Now Know Ye, That, upon full consideration of the premises, We do hereby grant to him the said Elias Thurborn, a full and free Pardon of the Crime aforesaid; of which all our Judges, Justices, Magistrates and officers, of every denomination are to take notice.

Witness, Albion K. Parris, our Governor, with the advice and consent of our Council, and our Seal hereunto affixed, at Portland the sixteenth day of February, in the year in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty five; and in the forty ninth year of the Independence of the United States.
