State of Maine.

To all who shall see these Presents,

Greeting:

[to the left is a circle with "Seal." inside it and "Enoch Lincoln” written under it]

it is hereby certified and made known, That on the first Monday of November instant, being the third day of said month, Honorable Thomas Fillebrown, of Winthrop, in our County of Kennebec, was duly chosen an Elector of President and Vice President of the United States, agreeably to the provisions of a Resolve, entitled “Resolved providing for the choice of Electors of President and Vice President,” passed by the Legislature of this State, on the twelfth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight.

In testimony whereof, I have caused the Seal of the State to be hereunto affixed. Given under my hand at Portland, the twenty second day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight; and in the fifty third year of the Independence of the United States of America.
