Greeting.

Be it Known, That Ether Shepley of Saco, in our County of York, Esquire, in the seventeenth day of January current, was elected by the Legislature a Senator, to represent this State in the Congress of the United States, for the period of six years; commencing with the fourth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three, according to the provisions of the Constitution.

Given under our Seal. Witness Samuel E. Smith Esquire, our Governor, at Augusta the twenty third day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three; and in the fifty seventh year of the Independence of the United States of America.
