State of Maine

To all persons to whom these Presents shall come,

Greeting:

Whereas, before the Court of General Sessions of the Peace, within and for the County of Kennebec, begun and holden at Augusta, in said county, on the third Tuesday of August, being the seventeenth day of said month, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and two, Robinson Mills of Belgrade, in our said County of Kennebec, was convicted of the crime of Larceny; and by said Court, was sentenced to pay a fine of five dollars, to the use of the Commonwealth, cost of prosecution at that term of said Court, and stand committed until the sentence was performed; which sentence has been fully executed: And he the said Robinson Mills has humbly supplicated us for mercy.

Now know ye, That upon full consideration of the premises, We do hereby grant to him the said Robinson Mills, a full and free pardon of the crime aforesaid: Of which all our Judges, Justices, Magistrates and Officers of every denomination, are to take notice.

Witness William King, our Governor, with the advice and consent of the Council, and our Seal hereunto affixed, at Portland, the fifteenth day of February, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and twenty one; and in the forty fifth year of the Independence of the United States.
