[Petitions - James Swett & others] [— James Lord & others] [— John Wait & others] Petitions — of James Swett & others of Falmouth that said town may be relieved from the burthen of supporting the County Bridge in said towns — of James lord and others that a special committee may be appointed to enquire into and report a statement of facts relative to the Bridge at Staples Point — of John Wait & others for a repeal of the act passed Feb. 20. 1819 authorizing the Court of Sessions for the County of Cumberland to erect a Bridge across the Presumscot river at Staples Point — were severally read and referred to Messrs Gardiner of Gardiner, Leach of Raymond & Burr of Litchfield.

[Bill - to change name of Gerry] Bill to change the name of the town of Gerry - was read a 1st time and tomorrow at 10. o'clock assigned for a second reading & in the meantime referred to Messrs Parsons of Edgecomb, Grovesnor of Minot & Tuttle of Eastport.
