[No private petitions to be received after Saturday next] Ordered, that no petition of a private nature be received by this House after Saturday next — read and passed.

[Resolve — reducing No. of polls in Monroe.] Resolve, for reducing the number of Polls in the valuation of Monroe — read twice & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Committee — additional law regulating Judicial process & proceedings &c] An order came from the Senate appointing Messrs Bond & Bradbury a committee with such as the House may join to consider whether any law ought to be made in addition to an act regulating judicial process and proceedings with leave to report by bill or otherwise, for the concurrence of the House — The House concurred and Messrs Pond of Bucksport, Dunlap of Brunswick and Downes of Calais were joined.

[Report of committee on pet. of Geo. Rogers & als] The committee on the petition of George Rogers and others for a division of the County of Lincoln and of sundry other petitions and remonstrances on the same subject reported an order of notice — The report accepted in the Senate came down for concurrence — and the House concurred.

[Committee - to see if any amendment to apportion] On motion of Mr Pond of Bucksport, Ordered, that Messrs Pond of Bucksport, Lewis of Gorham and Hobbs of Berwick be a committee to ascertain whether any amendments or additions are necessary in the Resolve apportioning the Representatives in the several Counties, towns, plantations and classes on the first apportionment passed
