[Rep. on pet. of Elijah Daisy & William Hunt.] The committee on the petition of Elijah Daisy & William Hunt to be annexed to the town of Dixfield reported leave to bring in a bill — The report accepted in Senate came down for concurrence - and the House concurred.

[Bill - Salmon falls Corporation &c] The House resumed the consideration of the Bill "to establish a corporation by the name of the Salmon Falls Manufacturing Company" when on motion it was referred to Messrs Hayes of South Berwick, Batcheldor of Union and Torrey of Deer isle.

[Governors Message] Message from the Governor. To the Senate and House of Representatives, The adjutant General having furnished me with an "Abstract of the annual return of the Militia, and of the arms, accoutrements, and ammunition" I have directed the same to be laid before the Legislature for their information. From the return it will appear that this State has not received from the parent State, any part of the Ordnance and Military Stores, secured to us by the Act of Separation. It is expected that the Commissioners appointed by the two States to divide the joint property will in the course of the ensuing season, effect such a division of the personal property as will enable us to receive a just proportion of the Military Stores. From a schedule furnished from the Quarter Master General Department it appears that the value of all the ordnance and the military Stores, subject to a division under the Act of separation, is estimated at two hundred and eleven thousand three hundred and forty six
