[Committee - vacancy of office of SecY of State -] On motion of Mr Leach of Vassalboro' Ordered that Messrs Leach of Vassalboro, Quinnam of Wiscasset and Wilder of Dennysville be a committee to enquire into the expediency of providing for the case of vacancy in the office of Secretary of State with leave to report by bill or otherwise — read and passed.

[Bill - store lime] Bill entitled an additional Act to regulate the Manufacture and inspection of Stone lime and lime casks — was read a third time & passed to be engrossed with an amendment. Sent up for concurrence.

[Bill - sites for Light Houses] Bill in addition to an act to cede to the United States the jurisdiction of sites for Light Houses - was read a third time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with this Senate.
