[pet. of Jonathan Sibley & others] Petition of Jonathan Sibley & others that Jarvis Gore in Penobscot County may be incorporated into a town by name of Oxford — read and referred to the committee on incorporation of towns. Sent up for concurrence.

[Petition of Lewiston] Petition of Lewiston to be reimbursed their expences in the support of Jeremiah Smith and wife — paupers having no settlement in this State — read and referred to the committee on New Trials. Sent up for concurrence

[Committee to report if expediant to furnish County — Treasurers with the Laws &c] Ordered, That Messrs Goodwin of Brewer, Blackwell of Madison and Wood of Winthrop be a committee to take into consideration the propriety of allowing to each of the County Treasurers in this State a set of the Statute Laws already printed and bound - to report by Bill or otherwise — read & passed.

[Rep - Wiscasset Bank] The committee to whom was referred the Bill "entitled and additional act respecting the Wiscasset Bank reported the same as taken into a new draft — report accepted.

[Bill - Wiscasset Bank] Bill entitled an additional act respecting the Wiscasset Bank — read a third time as in the new draft, and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.
