Met According to adjournment. [M. Burley took his seat] Mr. Burley who was declared at the last session of this Legislature to be duly elected as a Representative from Palermo, Montville and Montville plantation appeared - Mr. Vose of Augusta was requested to introduce him to the Governor to be qualified.

[Rem. of Trenton] Remonstrance of the Inhabitants of Trenton against the petition of Zaccheus Porter and others praying for the establishment of Belfast as a half shire town. Read and committed to the joint standing committee on Incorporation of Towns. Sent up for concurrence.

[Thurston Card] Petition of Thurston Card praying for a pension. Read and committed to joint standing committee on applications from sick and wounded soldiers. Sent up for concurrence.

[Charles Smith & als] Petition of Charles Smith and others praying that the laws exempting ministers from taxation may be repealed. Read and committed to a special committee of this House who have under consideration the petition of Oliver Sewall & others.

[Nehemiah Smith] Petition of Nehemiah Smith praying for a repeal of the Laws exempting ministers from taxation. Read and committed to the same committee.
