Ordered, that Messrs Clark of Limington, McCobb of Phipsburg, Cobb of Durham Wilson of Bingham, Adams of Steuben, Fletcher of China, Nourse of Orrington, Francis of Leeds & Grover of Bethel be a committee to consider the expediency of revising the laws relating to schools; also to consider the expediency of appropriating a part of the proceeds of sales of public lands for the purpose of creating a fund to be disposed of in supporting schools in the several towns in this State.
