[Resolve - paying Engrossing Clerks]

Resolve granting compensation to the engrossing Clerks in the Secretary's Office - Read a second time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Report - poor debtors]

Committee to whom was referred the Bill "for the relief of Poor Debtors" Report that the further consideration of the subject be referred to the next Legislature - which report is refused acceptance. The House now nonconcur the Senate in all their amendments and adhere to their own vote passing this bill to be engrossed.

[Report - restricting Castine Bank]

The Joint Committee to whom was recommitted the Bill "restricting the Castine Bank in negociateing [negociating] business as a Banking Corporation and providing for the collection of their debts and for other purposes" - report the same with amendments. In Senate March 14th 1821 The Senate reconsider their vote of March 10th 1821 so far, as now to pass this Bill to be engrossed as amended by erasing the amendment at A on Sheet A and adopt the amendment at A reported by said joint Committee. Sent down for concurrence. Read a third time & passed to be engrossed with an amendment at D. Sent up for concurrence in the amendment.
