Petition of Thomas A. Hill and als Stockholders in the Bangor Bank for an amendment of the charter of said bank - read & referred to the committee on Banks and Banking - sent up for concurrence.

[election of Wm. Vance]

The Report of the committee on William Vance's election was called up and recommitted -

[Committee on doings of Land Agents]

Ordered that the committee on the States [State's] Land be instructed to enquire into the doings of the several land agents and report to this House forthwith. Read & passed. Sent up for concurrence - This order came back from the Senate nonconcurred.

[Counsellor accepts -]

A communication was received from Elias Stowell Counsellor elect, signifying his acceptance - read and sent up.

[Report on pet. Barrett Potter]

The Report of the committee on the petition of Barret Potter for authority to convey lands belonging to Elisabeth W. Chase a minor, giving leave to bring in a Resolve came down accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.
