On motion of Mr Eveleth Ordered, that Messrs Eveleth, Gray & Crowell of Waterville be a Committee to take into consideration what alterations, if any, are necessary in the law, of this State,entitled "an act respecting wills and testaments and regulating the descent of intestate estates with leave to report by bill or otherwise - read and passed.

The Committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed Bill "to establish a ministerial and school fund in the town of Madison" which was passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence -

The same committee reported as duly engrossed, Resolve "on petition of Archibald Lewis & others" - also "granting a pension to John Carleton 2nd " - which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.
