The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed, Bill, to establish a ministerial & school fund in the town of Weld - to incorporate the proprietors of the Montville & Searsmont Canal which, were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence

[Resolves-]

The same committee reported as duly engrossed, Resolve, conferring the doings of the town of Wilton - authorizing the conveyance of certain State lands to Robert Crosby & Joseph Kinsman which, were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Convention held to qualify Counsellors]

Agreeably to assignment the two Houses met in convention at 1/2 past 12 o oclock when Daniel Merrill Esqr Counsellor elect, came in and took & subscribed the oaths required by the Constitution & laws to qualify him for the discharge of the duties of that office - and then he withdrew - after which the Senate withdrew.

[Bill - Session in Cumberland.]

Bill, to alter the terms of the Courts of Sessions in Cumberland County, was read a 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

[Bill - additional lands in Baldwin]

Bill, additional to an act authorizing the sale of ministerial lands in Baldwin, was read a 3d time and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence

Report, of the Committee appointed by Resolve of
