[Report - Wm Frost & als]

Report on petition of William Frost & als for an alteration in the law to secure to owners their property in logs, masts, and spars &c in Androscoggin River, passed March 16th 1821, granting leave to bring in a bill, came down accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

[Report - Daniel Barrett]

Report on petition of Daniel Barrett proprietor of Camden turnpike, granting leave to withdraw, came down accepted for concurrence - & the House concurred.

[Committee - taxes on nonresident lands]

On motion of Mr Millikin, Ordered that Messrs Millikin, Lewis & Cobb, be a committee to take into consideration the expediency of making further provision by law for the assessment & collection of taxes on lands lying in this State belonging to nonresident proprietors, with leave to report by bill or otherwise - read & passed.

[Committee - Alewives in Boothbay -]

On motion of Mr McKown, Ordered, that Messrs McKown, Thatcher, & Elden be a Committee to enquire into the expediency of repealing an act passed by the General Court of Massachusetts Feb 10 1802 regulating the taking of Alewives in the town of Boothbay, with leave to report by bill or otherwise - read & passed.

[Notice to Governor of election of Genl Turner]

An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the Secretary of State to notify the Governor that the two Houses of the Legislature on the 28th inst, elected Dwelly Turner Esqr of Bath, Major General of the 4th Division of the Militia of this State - & the House concurred.
