Message from the Senate by Mr Smith their Secretary. Mr Speaker By direction of the Senate I lay on your table the Bill "in addition to an act entitled an act to divide the town of North Yarmouth & incorporate the westerly part thereof into a town by the name of Cumberland" agreeably to the request of the House - and then he withdrew. Whereupon the House appointed Messrs Abbot & Fuller a committee of conference on their part on said Bill - The Senate gave notice of their appointment of Messrs Witham & Usher on their part on said Bill.

Bill additional to an act to incorporate the Trustees of the Gardiner Lyceum - was read a third time and referred to the next Legislature - 69 pro. 54 con.

Mr Parker of Gardiner, gave notice that he should move a reconsideration of the last vote at 11 oclock on Tuesday next.

The committee on engrossed bills reported as duly engrossed Bill, to incorporate the town of Milburn - to set off a part of Columbia to Harrington - were severally passed to be enacted. Sent up for concurrence

The same committee reported as duly engrossed - Resolve, in favor of Todd & Smith - in favor of Samuel Trask & Joshua Richardson - authorizing the town of Sullivan to abate the taxes on Sullivan Bridge, which were severally finally passed. Sent up for concurrence
